“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” Sees 10x Increase In Ratings Within 5 Episodes

    “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” has seen a major jump in ratings! Airing on cable network ENA, episode 5 of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” on July 13 scored an average nationwide rating of 9.138 percent according to Nielsen Korea. This is nearly a 4 percent jump from the previous episode’s rating of 5.2 percent and 10 times the rating of 0.9 percent achieved by the first episode. The drama once again breaks its own record for the highest ratings in ENA history. tvN’s “Eve” saw a slight dip with an average nationwide rating of 3.354 percent, while JTBC’s “Insider” remained steady with a rating of 2.947 percent. KBS2’s “Jinxed at First” fell to 2.7 percent for episode 9.

    The second season of “Taxi Driver” has temporarily halted filming. The cast and crew of the drama recently left for Vietnam in order to shoot overseas. However, the majority of the staff were sent into quarantine due to an outbreak of COVID-19. It is said that Lee Je Hoon and the other actors weren’t diagnosed with the virus. On July 15, a source from “Taxi Driver 2” shared, “It is true that some of the staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
